Role Overview

As the Network Management Lead, you will lead the development of strategic and commercial partnerships that expand Lightnet’s payments, FX, and on-ramp / off-ramp ecosystem. This role is central to strengthening Lightnet’s infrastructure capabilities and accelerating adoption across priority markets.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a partnerships strategy aligned with Lightnet’s product roadmap, including banks, payment institutions, fintechs, liquidity providers, and on-/off-ramp partners
  • Identify, structure, and onboard new partners that enhance Lightnet’s cross-border payments, FX, settlement, and fiat ↔ digital asset conversion capabilities
  • Grow and manage existing partnerships, driving increased transaction volumes, product usage, and commercial outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to unlock new use cases across collections, payouts, remittances, and on-/off-ramp flows
  • Work with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations to ensure partnership structures meet regulatory and operational requirements across jurisdictions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the global payments, FX, and digital assets landscape, including regulatory considerations for on-/off-ramp activities
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full partnership lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding, launch, and ongoing optimization
  • Contribute to partnership KPIs focused on scalable growth, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Own partnership performance KPIs, including transaction volume, active corridors, cost efficiency, and time-to-launch for new partners
  • Comfortable operating hands-on-in deal structuring, onboarding coordination, and problem-solving with partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus but not required)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles within payments, fintech, banking, FX, remittance, or financial services
  • Proven experience building and managing partnerships with Thai banks, financial institutions, payment service providers (PSPs), or cross-border partners
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payments, FX mechanisms, settlement processes,
    and liquidity structures
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Thailand (e.g., Bank of Thailand (BOT), payment licenses, FX regulations) is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to digital assets, on-/off-ramp models, or Web3 ecosystem is a plus (not
    mandatory)
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements and structure win-win partnerships
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Treasury, and Operations teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory and fintech environment
  • Strong communication skills in both Thai and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for commercial analysis and presentation
