WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
Lightnet is the trading name of Lightnet Pte. Ltd. (“Lightnet”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a private limited company incorporated in Singapore and having its registered office at 9 Raffles Place, Level 5, Republic Plaza 1, Singapore 048619.
These Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) (together with the documents referred to in them) govern your access to and use of our website and any related informational pages, content and enquiry interfaces (together, the “Lightnet Website”).
Use of the Lightnet Website includes accessing and browsing the Lightnet Website and submitting enquiries or contact details, but does not include registering for, onboarding to, initiating or processing transactions or using any regulated financial services.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before you start to use the Lightnet Website. By using the Lightnet Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Lightnet Website.
Notice to customers in Singapore : Lightnet (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is licensed as a Major Payment Institution, but it is not licensed to provide Digital Payment Token (DPT) services. Any digital asset services referred to on the Lightnet Website are provided solely by independent licensed third-party providers under their own terms.
THE LIGHTNET GROUP AND REGULATORY STATUS
Lightnet provides regulated payment, remittance and technology services through its group of licensed entities and licensed third-party service providers, including, but not limited to:
Lightnet (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.,a Major Payment Institution regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore;
Inception Technology Co., Ltd. (Thailand), an Electronic Money and Electronic Payment Services provider regulated by the Bank of Thailand;
Inception Technology Philippines Corporation, regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas; and
PT Madam Express Remitindo, regulated by Bank Indonesia.
You acknowledge and agree that Lightnet operates the Lightnet Website as an informational platform, and that any regulated services described or referred to on the Lightnet Website will be provided by one or more Lightnet Group companies and/or licensed third parties depending on the nature of service, jurisdiction, currency, corridor and regulatory requirements.
NATURE OF THE LIGHTNET WEBSITE AND SERVICES
The Lightnet Website provides information about Lightnet, the Lightnet Group and the services that may be offered by them, and an access channel through which you may submit enquiries. The Lightnet Website does not itself enable users to initiate, execute or settle any transactions or to use any regulated financial services, including domestic or cross-border payments, remittance, foreign exchange, wallet or treasury services.
You hereby agree that these Terms of Use govern only your access to and use of the Lightnet Website and are separate from, and do not constitute, any offer, agreement or commitment to provide any regulated or financial services.
You further acknowledge and agree that the provision of any such services is conditional upon, and will only occur after, your execution of a separate definitive agreement with Lightnet or the relevant Lightnet Group entity, and that no account, transaction or regulated service shall be provided unless and until such definitive agreement has been duly executed.
CUSTOMERS CLASSES
Depending on how you use the Lightnet Website, you may be acting as:
a prospective financial institution seeking information about Lightnet’s regulated infrastructure and services; or
a prospective platform customer, such as a corporate, fintech, marketplace or merchant, seeking information about Lightnet’s solutions.
You acknowledge that your use of the Lightnet Website is limited to accessing information and submitting enquiries and that no services are provided through the Lightnet Website itself.
PAYMENTS, REMITTANCE AND SETTLEMENT
Lightnet and its licensed group entities provide regulated payment, remittance, foreign exchange, wallet and settlement services under separate definitive agreements.
The Lightnet Website does not enable users to open accounts, submit transactions, transmit funds, hold balances, or receive any regulated financial services.
Any services described on the Lightnet Website are provided only after a separate definitive agreement has been executed with the relevant Lightnet Group entity.
COMPLIANCE AND REGULATORY
By submitting an enquiry through the LightnetWebsite, you consent to Lightnet contacting you and carrying out preliminarycompliance and regulatory checks in accordance with applicable law.
No onboarding, account opening, transaction processing or regulated activity takes place through the Lightnet Website.
DIGITAL ASSET
The Lightnet Website may contain information relating to digital assets or blockchain-based settlement. Lightnet does not provide digital asset custody, exchange, brokerage or issuance services through the Lightnet Website, and any such services are provided by independent licensed third-party providers under separate agreements.
Lightnetdoes not endorse any third-party digital asset service provider and thatcustomers choose to use those services at their own risk under the relevantthird party's terms and risk disclosures.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights in and to the Lightnet Website, including all content, software, source code, APIs, interfaces, databases, data, designs, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, reports and documentation (together, the “Website Materials”) are owned by, or licensed to, Lightnet or the relevant Lightnet Group entity.
Nothing in these Terms of Use grants you any right, title or interest in or to the Website Materials.
You must not, without Lightnet’s prior written consent:
copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, transmit, sell, license or otherwise exploit any part of the Lightnet Website or the Website Materials;
reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of any software or system made available through the Lightnet Website;
remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or proprietary notices; or
use any Lightnet name, logo, trademark or branding in any way that may imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation.
All goodwill arising from the use of any Lightnet trademarks or branding shall inure exclusively to the benefit of Lightnet.
DISCLAIMERS AND NO RELIANCE
The Lightnet Website is provided for general information only. Nothing on the Lightnet Website constitutes:
an offer to provide regulated financial services;
financial, legal or regulatory advice; or
a binding commitment to enter into any transaction.
Although Lightnet makes reasonable efforts to update the information on the Lightnet Website, Lightnet makes no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on the Lightnet website is accurate, complete or up to date.You must not rely on the Lightnet Website as the basis for any financial or commercial decision.
You acknowledge that you should not rely on any information on the Lightnet Website as a substitute for entering into a formal agreement with Lightnet or the relevant Lightnet Group entity.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits Lightnet’s liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lightnet shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising out of or in connection with:
your use of, or inability to use, the Lightnet Website;
your use of, or reliance on, any content or information made available on the Lightnet Website;
any loss of profits, sales, business or revenue;
business interruption;
loss of anticipated savings;
loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or
anyindirect or consequential loss or damage.
Lightnet shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the Lightnet Website or to your downloading of any content from it or from any website linked to it.
The Lightnet Website may contain links to websites or resources provided by third parties. Such links are provided for your information only and do not constitute any endorsement by Lightnet. Lightnet has no control over the contents of those websites or resources and shall not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lightnet and the Lightnet Group against any claims, losses, fines, penalties, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of Applicable Law, or your misuse of the Lightnet Website.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms govern only your use of the Lightnet Website and do not affect any separate agreement you may enter into with Lightnet or any Lightnet Group entity for the provision of services.
OUR RELATIONSHIP
Nothing in these Terms of Use creates any partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, agency or employment relationship between you and Lightnet or any Lightnet Group entity. You have no authority to bind Lightnet and Lightnet shall not be responsible for any representation, act or omission made by you to any third party.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use and any dispute or claimarising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed inaccordance with the laws of Singapore. For the avoidance of doubt, these Termsof Use govern only your access to and use of the Lightnet Website. Any separatedefinitive agreement for regulated payment, remittance, wallet, digital assetor other financial services shall be governed by the law specified in thatagreement.
PROHIBITED USES
You may use the Lightnet Website only for lawful and authorised purposes. You must not use the Lightnet Website:
in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent;
to transmit or upload any harmful or malicious code;
to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Lightnet Website or any systems; or
in any way that could damage, disable or impair the Lightnet Website.
BREACH, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF WEBSITE ACCESS
If you breach these Terms of Use, or if Lightnet reasonably believes that you have misused, attempted to misuse, or are likely to misuse the Lightnet Website, Lightnet may, without notice and without liability:
suspend or restrict your access to the Lightnet Website;
block or refuse to process any enquiries submitted by you;
remove or disable any content submitted by you; and/or
take such other action as Lightnet reasonably considers necessary to protect the Lightnet Website, its users, or its regulatory obligations.
Lightnet may terminate your access to the Lightnet Website at any time if your breach is material, repeated or cannot be remedied.
COOKIES
The Lightnet Website uses cookies and similar technologies for security, compliance, analytics and performance. By continuing to use the Lightnet Website, you consent to such use.

These Terms of Use refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of the Lightnet Website:
